About Me
I’m an internet addict and this site is complete proof. I wanted to have one place to put everything I do online. I am quit diverse and it seems to get more that way each week.
So here you can find pages about my sites and some of my blogs. I didn’t find it quite appropriate to add a couple of personal blogs to the mix and I’m sure you’ll understand that. But this will give you many different places to visit. Whether they are some of my companies, blogs with resources, or companies I represent. It’s all here in one place.
I started working from home as a rep. for Tupperware. I literally used it as a way to get out of the house and away from being a housemom and still make a little money. I did both and had a lot of fun. But I was spending more money on product than I was making, so it wasn’t a good option anymore. This was in 1999 sometime. By the end of 2000 I’d gotten online and was stuck there already. I joined a different direct sales company in the craft field and also joined a candle company that I could wholesale for. I built my first site at the beginning of 2001 and was even more addicted. I loved the control of adding my own content and also the thrill of knowing people were visiting it. I really wish I had some screenshots of the first couple of sites I built because they were simple or hilarious at first. But they got better as I went and I spent a ton of time online learning all about building good sites and how to get traffic.
One major thing I have learned is that I like to help others learn the ropes as much as I can. I frequent message boards and answer questions as much as possible. I also of course have built my resource site at Working WAHM to include many helpful links and reviews of products and services.
Then of course there is the easiest of site building that my partner Retta and I came up with one night. This was Easy WAHM Websites. We design the sites, load some pages and content on there with the domain name already keyworded for your niche and you just start plugging away from there.
The sky is the limit and I have so many more ideas and sites to start. You just never know what the new project will be, so keep checking here to find out.
